They made my first time buying process as smooth as they could whether this was chasing solicitors or communicating with the vendor. Excellent communication and attention to detail from all the team we would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell a property.

1st Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Honestly, do not waste your time with viewing properties with this company, I took time out of my day to view a basic flat for us to rent whilst we looked for another property to buy, having just sold our house. We were not once advised about the ‘strict referencing process’ they had from the landlord. Once we decided to move forward we were asked to provide affordability, which I did showing our incomes more than covers the rent without issues. After providing personal information and chasing, I got a one line response from the letting agent, saying the landlord rejected our application because we plan to go on holiday over Xmas. Such a waste of time and the flat remains on the market (since April).

18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

2nd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I can't praise Eden highly enough regarding my recent sale. I have been unlucky enough to have appointed really poor solicitors who didn't respond to my calls and enquiries and at times I felt abandoned but Lisa at Eden was my saving grace. She deals with the sales progression (after sales) and she has been invaluable. Lisa has a passion for her work and she regularly goes over and above to resolve an issue. She was even emailing me whilst on holiday. Quite frankly Lisa kept me sane! On reflection, the easy part is selling your home and the hard part is ensuring it goes through in a timely manner and Lisa's dogged determination made it happen for me. If you are in two minds about which estate agent to choose, pick Eden - you wont be disappointed.

Informative, proactive and no need to chase them for information as they were already on the case. Nice guys to deal with and we would recommend them to anyone looking to sell, as we will be using them in the future.
