15th Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)If I could leave 0 I would. The type of agency to be kind to your face but really will bully/ trick you for money. They recently forced a tenant into situation where they would be homeless by getting new tenants to sign a contract for the property when current tenants did not confirm a date to move out or that they were happy to proceed (this is before original tenancy was completed). Then they proceeded to mock and gaslight the tenant for being scared of homelessness. They also overcharged the landlord. Not to be trusted. Terrible service.
22nd Oct 2024 (11 days ago)We have just finished the tenancy with Pedder Dulwich Village and they seem to be heavily favouring landlords for checkout deposit process. We paid for an expensive professional end of tenancy clean but pedder inventory clerk reported such minor issues that it looked hilarious to even notice it. Similarly, they didn't take normal wear and tear into account and Pedder just asked me to talk directly to the landlord for deposit negotiations instead of looking to propose and release the deposit. It sounds a big pain to get the deposit back. I would refrain from taking a property again from Pedder and suggest them to be practical so that people have a smooth experience.

8th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Stanford Estate gave us the most knowledgable and enthusiastic pitch when getting valuations. There were quality issues with the sales brochure when it was being prepared, but this was eventually resolved before we went to market. They did a good job of getting people viewing, and finding a realistic offer more quickly than expected. They were reasonably good at responding to queries during the progression of the sale, although always very good at sending over queries from the buyer.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

Earlier this year, John, Tom and Paul helped with purchasing our first home and made the whole experience very easy and smooth. Even with the small bumps in road that naturally occur with any home purchase, they were reassuring and maintained a good steam of communicating. They are readily available, friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend them
11th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)The estate agency world often gets a bad name but I have nothing but positive words to say about the guys at Noah’s - they feel like a different breed! I mostly dealt with Kourosh as a buyer and he knew exactly the type of property I was looking for. He gave me great insight on the market with no fluff or nonsense and went above and beyond throughout the purchase. So much so that when the seller ended up leaving a load of furniture in the house after completion, both Jacob and Kourosh came in the Noah’s van to pick it all up after the sale which I thought was awesome. Top guys who with strong integrity.
2nd Jan 2024 (9 mo. ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

The process was quick and smooth with great communication. I would highly recommend this independent estate agents as they listen to your needs, find a solution and execute professionally.

Very rude and abrupt, you’d think there would be an element of care or desire to provide great customer service considering the amount of competition there is. Recommendation = avoid
