I had a viewing, i submitted the offer as the agent adviced me i should hurry and secure the property and they did not send the offer to the landlord. After this they wouldn't answer to my calls or my text messages. Very unprofessional!

As a representative, she appeared unprepared and directed clients to the website for property information. Despite attempts to offer guidance, her grasp of the subject matter seemed insufficient. Additionally, she often interrupted others when lacking pertinent information herself. It was evident that she was not suited for the role of selling properties, which demands a higher level of proficiency compared to managing rental properties, where her strengths may lie.

David at B&S gave excellent customer service, we stayed in touch through him with the sellers throughout the whole process which made things much easier. David always responded to queries and chased all solicitors involved promptly. David was friendly, professional and trustworthy. Highly recommend.
29th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Terrible agency. Stay away. They let out a flat where the boiler wasn't working from day one of the tenancy. When a call out was made at the weekend on Saturday I was told that it was not an emergency and not having ANY heating/ hot water during Winter with a 3 year old living in the house didn't classify as an emergency so the contractor would only be sent on the Monday, which they then did.
2nd May 2024 (18 days ago)Kay from Garrison Estates is by far the best agent my Partner/I dealt with throughout our entire purchasing journey. Kay took a (refreshing) relationship-based approach to getting to know us, our needs and didn't push us into purchasing his listed properties. He was (and continues to be) responsive and provided advice for us on our purchasing journey. When we sell or let our next property, Kay will be our guy! Thank you Peter and Natalia

18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
5th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)This is my 2nd bad experience to this agency. Never again. Will not bother asking for viewing for their properties. Called yesterday confirming our jobs and all information including my small child. Everything is well and told me they will call me back. The day after I follow up for the viewing request and they suddenly changed mind that they can't accept the child which they said a day before that it was okay. We never experienced this with much more known agencies than PORTICO! AVOID!

Last month i was looking for a new home ,3 weeks of searching and calling different Estates Agents, a lot of appointments for viewings the properties but for what i saw on all the appointments it looked like they didn't want my money,none of the Agents put a bit of interest on selling the house ,some of them staying in the car or on the phone and let me walk free in the house to have a look by myself,none of them didn't show me the property in the correct way as an estate agent should do it. I was thinking for worse and start feeling desperate. BUT luckily i found mr. Ali from Real Move Estates, he helped me find a stunning 3 bed house, i have to say that his professional skill made the difference, he was the only one that show me the house ,all the rooms and all of it's space and let me know everything what i need to know about that property . On top of that he explains me everything verry clearly and made me understand all the documents and all the details needed for application. He made me feel like he really want to sell me the house and that's make me to go forwar with his team. I must say i am lucky that i find mr Ali and Real move Estates. Thanks verry much indeed for everything and all your effort. Best real Estates company on the market. 5 stars +++

I have been informed of every stage of the selling process (which is the moment is still ongoing). We are using their recommendation for a solicitor who again is very good.
