25th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have never written a review for an estate agent but I had to write this. I cannot express enough how amazing Rochford Stokes has been as our letting agent. Right since the day I viewed the property (the manager Jason actually waited for a while as I was running late and then later also dropped me off as I was in a rush between viewings, have never received such kindness from London estate agents). They go above and beyond to help you. Their communication with us as tenants has been exceptionally good and considerate. We are only leaving the property as our landlords are selling the property. Even with the property sale, they have been so good to us and have treated us exceptionally well and not just like a number/tick box exercise as many estate agents in London do. Small things like keeping us updated at every stage, sending a Christmas card to us, and always understanding the tenant’s perspective while managing the landlord’s perspective speak volumes about their professionalism and dedication to providing the highest quality of customer service. Everything has been smooth and stress-free with them. In fact when we put an offer on the property, Jason never pressured us to bid more (like many agents do) and told us to put an offer we were comfortable with. I cannot recommend Rochford Stokes highly enough. They make you feel valued as tenants which is quite rare in London. I would definitely come back to them when I look to buy a property in the near future.

Victoria's expert knowledge of the area really impressed us when we were first selecting agents. Once on the market they got a large number of people through the door in a short space of time which quickly led to offers. Extremely professional estate agents.

I had previousy had a bad experience with a few of the larger estate agents where I felt a lack of genuine care and had multiple offers fall through. I can't thank Zoë enough for the insight and support she gave me throughout the entire process, she was brilliant! It was seamless from start to finish. Absolutely delighted with my flat and could not reccomend Aspire enough.

They are friendly and hard workers. Who else can help you at 9pm when you have an issue?? :)) Definitely it will be Malay and Mansi. They are always happy to help, they are incredibly good with people and has a knack for matching the tenant with the owner…. making it the perfect fit for a property.

She was super responsive via email and call when we were enquiring about the property, 100% at hand for answering queries and providing updates during referencing and ensured the process was completed as smoothly and quickly as possible. Thanks to Mary-Felicia this has been the easiest moving process I’ve experienced so far. Thanks for your professionalism and going above and beyond to make this experience so easy :)!

15th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I wanted to bring to all Landlords attention, that Smart Move Estate Agent has got a criminal records. Smart Move Estate Argent unfair withheld all of the deposit money and refused to co-operate with me and my solicitor. They failed to return all the calls made by my solicitor and myself and ignored all our letters. Tenant was evicted out of my property and it was in a state of some considerable damaged upon the tenancy coming to an end and I had to spend in excess of £2,000 in remedying the problems. I have taking Smart Move Estate Agent to small claim court and I have won the whole of the deposit money. Also I have provided ample notice of my desire to dispose of Smart Move Estate Agent services and yet despite this they have continued to charge me, in my view without justification. I have issued the tenant with a section 21 notice, giving them at least two months notice to leave, but the tenant ignored the notices. I have also gave Smart Move Estate Agent two months notice that I did not required their service any more and I will manage my tenant until they will be evicted out, Smart Move Estate Agent have ignored all my letters and continued to make charge. I have clearly put them on notice that I no longer want the company to represent me concerning the collection of the rent etc as to my property. I find them reluctance to accept this disappointing and clearly in breach of the recent remarks of the Court of Appeal in the Foxtons Case. I was seeking a refund from them as to commission paid and subsequent to notice terminating they retainer. I have also took Smart Move Estate Agent to small claim court and unfortunately I have lost the court hearing, because I did not had the evidence showing that the tenant paid Smart Move Estate Agent rent money. Tenant told me that they have paid the rent money to the Smart Move Estate Agent, but tenant refused to provide me the evidence and this is way Smart Move Estate Agent has got the criminal record. Smart owning showed the judge 12 months transactions and lied to the judge and said that they have accept the terminating from me, they never showed the other transactions. Also Smart Move Estate Agent carried out repairs without letting me know first, and charged me when the item was one year guarantee, Smart Move Estate Agent sent me two invoices, the first one they sent to me was a washing machine invoice and then they changed they mind when I said the washing machine had a one year guarantee and then they said it was a fridge freeze, I also said to them that was also one year guarantee. They refused to give me the receipt; it showed that they have not repaired anything. At the court hearing they had a made up receipt, which was too late. I have also taken them to small claim court and I have won. That why I want to tell you my story to all the Landlord out there to beware of Smart Move Estate Agent Residential Sales & Lettings 16b The Concourse, Edmonton Green, London, N9 0TY. I find them rude and when they wrote a letter to my solicitor the letters were all mis-spelled, and they wanted to charge me ever letter they wrote to my solicitor.

31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Rebecca has been looking after my two rental properties for over 10 years now. When she decided to set up on her own with Radstock, my decision to follow her was immediate. We have now become very good friends and there was absolutely no hesitation about staying where I was before. I was going to follow Rebecca wherever she was going. Rebecca’s professionalism and incredible understanding of the market is incomparable to any other estate agent. I have been contacted by so many other agencies, encouraging me to move my business, (even at a reduced fee) but no one was ever of the same standards of Radstock. I can honestly say that every advice I was given, whether it was pricing of the properties, redecoration requirements, or recommendation on which tenants to go for, have always been spot on. I have never regretted her choices and always 100% rely on her advice, on EVERYTHING to do with my property. I have never been worried about finding new tenants with her in the past, and this has continued to be the case again now since her move. In less than 48 hours of a property on the market I already had 9 offers. Her ability to recommend my property and follow up with with potential renters is so impressive. She is honest, incredibly friendly and so pleasant to deal with that anyone who be loosing out not doing business with her. She always put together a great team wherever she is, and her team now at Radstock are wonderful. Although I have not met them face to face, I feel like I have known them for years. They are able to deal with all day to day parts of my business, incredibly efficiently, and always on time. I have never had to wait for an email reply. How can anyone complain about that kind of service! I couldn’t recommend Rebecca and her team at Radstock enough.. Would advise all landlords to move with them!

15th Apr 2024 (21 weeks ago)I contracted Davis & Gibbs to deal with the sale of my ex-rental studio flat in Kennington. Callum Brook was professional, realistic and really helpful throughout the process. As I no longer live in the UK, he sent me pictures of the flat, advised on which repairs were worth doing, got the meter readings, checked for mail, gave advice on how to deal with the formalities, etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Very shortly after the flat went back on the market (within about 10 days, I think), Callum got me an offer very close to the asking price which I was happy to accept, and the sale was completed recently. I am delighted with this result, especially at a time when the housing market is so unpredictable. I would not hesitate to use Davis & Gibbs again.
